FAQ
What happens when my trial ends?
Nothing is lost. Your models still open, show and export. Editing, saving and connectors need a licence key (Help → Licence).
How does the licence key work?
Keys are checked offline on your computer. Nothing is sent anywhere, so Sydal works in locked-down networks.
Which platforms does it run on?
Windows (installer or MSI). There is also an optional browser version you host yourself. In the browser version, connectors, the AI assistant and code scanning stay desktop-only. There is no Mac or Linux desktop app.
Is this the final release?
The current release is Sydal 1.0.1. Connectors without a Preview tag are the established ones; newer connectors and AI features are labelled Preview in the app and on this site.
Is there team or consultancy pricing?
Not yet. Every seat is Professional at $990 per user per year, and colleagues who only read models use the free Viewer. Buying several seats? Contact us for an invoice.
How do I pay?
Email [email protected] and we'll send you an invoice. Payment is by PayPal for now.
